What grade level are the resources for?

The Curated Connections Library has content for all grade levels. Because our lessons are student-centered and discussion-based, they are easily adapted to a higher or a lower level. Cindy has taught all levels k-college

That being said, the majority of the resources were originally created for middle, high, and college.

Are you a middle school, high school, or college art teacher?  Then, you will definitely use and love the The Curated Connections Library. The materials are focused on art history and art appreciation, so if you're a rockstar studio teacher who needs help incorporating works of art into your curriculum, you're in the right place.

Elementary teachers may need to do some adaptation. However, the good news is that we have an elementary art teacher on the team who creates two units per month for the Library!

If you teach preschool or lower elementary (k-2), you will not find much in the library for your students.

The professional development sessions, such as the Art Appreciation Master Class, are beneficial for all art teachers. Cindy has taught all ages and uses the same discussion and engagement strategies on young students as she did with her college-age students. Do not underestimate how much meaning a child of any age can derive from a work of art!
